If you plan to use the course for ticket dismissal, you must first receive notice from the Texas court system that you are eligible to take a defensive driving course to dismiss the ticket. You will still be responsible for paying any fines and fees related to the ticket.

Sec. 1001.352. FEES FOR DRIVING SAFETY COURSE. A driving safety provider shall charge each student: (1) at least $25 for a driving safety course; and (2) a fee of at least $3 for course materials and for supervising and administering the course.
Once you complete the course including passing the final test with a score of 70% or higher, you will be redirected to a form. Once the form is completed, you will receive an email with your certificate. We do not charge any extra fees for the certificate to be available instantly. We believe this should be the standard for you. Check your junk/spam mail if you don’t see it within five minutes.
